Explore New Mexico

August 3, 2019 By melo

Communication and outreach to farmers and ranchers is a key component of Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in New Mexico efforts. To assist in these efforts, NRCS NM purchased an Ideum touch table and had a custom offline application developed to showcase the services offered by the organization. Over time, the content became static, and NRCS NM wanted the ability to change content in the application on their own.

Custom Development

To reach NRCS NM’s goals, we built ‘Explore New Mexico,’ an offline application that allows its users to explore agriculture activities in New Mexico by county from a map-based interface. To enable the client to update their own content, the app was built using Intuiface, which uses data from Excel spreadsheets to drive the content.
